ABOUT US

The Recyclery provides a space for community involvement and inclusion. We are not a bicycle shop and do not sell brand new bicycles. We�re way too popular for our own good, so there�re delays surrounding getting a bike that suits you. Please be patient, we have other priorities and jobs to do besides providing bikes (for example, we try to get people with disabilities included into the community).

Please feel free to come and use the space and tools, and you can ask other people for advice.

The Recyclery is a joint venture between four groups;

LEAD is an organisation aiming to find meaningful work and training for people with disability. The Recyclery is just one project which helps to integrate people into vibrant existing communities.

ANU GREEN provides environmental management and strategies for sustainability for ANU on campus to reduce it�s environmental impact.

CANBERRA ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY RESCOURCE CENTRE is proud to support the Recyclery, and actively raises an awareness of the need for sustainability throughout the Canberra region.

COMMUNITY CPS FOUNDATION is a proud supporter of the Recyclery. Community CPS has a firm focus on environmental sustainability and community inclusion.
